Dr Stephanie Allen

Stephanie is currently a Senior Marine Biologist at the UK Hydrographic Office, supporting activities across the maritime industry. Stephanie undertook her degree of Marine Biology and Oceanography at Plymouth University and her PhD at the University of Southampton and the National Oceanography Centre. Her PhD examined long-term changes to oceanic plankton under a changing environment specialising in multivariate statistic techniques. She has collaborated internationally with several institutes including Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Scripps Institution of Oceanography and continues to contribute to outreach, as a STEM Ambassador across a variety of audiences
